QR SECURE Database

The QR SECURE Database is where you manage all your tools, equipment, van details, company details, etc. It's the heart of the system. ​When you sign up (which is free), you get immediate access to the database where you can start adding your personal details, your tools, and your van details. Then, when you're ready to protect your tools or your van, you can the subscribe to the paid ToolScan or VanScan services.

With access to the database, you can:

• Add/edit your company details.
   

• Add/edit your tools, including make, type, photos, serial number, distinguishing marks, etc.
   

• ​Add/edit your van details, such as make, model, registration, etc.
   

• Add/edit additional proof of ownership, such as purchase receipts or any other purchase transaction details.
   

• Add other people to your network, such as contractors, friends and family, to send them notifications. **
   

• Transfer ownership when you sell a secured tool.
   

• Write off protected tools that need to be discarded.
   

• Subscribe to the ToolScan and VanScan services (you can pay monthly or yearly).​​

Notes

* Without an active paid ToolScan subscription, your tools will not protected by our special laser etched QR codes, and scanning the QR codes will not display any information about them. The police will be unable see any information about your tools and will be unable to help you recover them. If you want to book appointments to have your tools laser etched with our unique QR codes, you will need a ToolScan subscription, or a combined ToolScan + VanScan subscription.

** To notify people in your network about your missing or stolen tools, and to allow others to notify you about tools that have been found, you will need either a ToolScan or VanScan (or combined) subscription. Without one of these subscriptions, you can still add people to your network but you won't be able to send them any notifications.
