How does it work?
Our unique QR codes are permanently laser etched directly onto your items.
Once the QR code is on the item, it's linked to our online database.
Whenever the QR code is scanned, you'll be notified with the location of the item.

If your items are stolen, you can report them as stolen on our database. Anyone scanning the QR code will see the status of the item with a message instructing them what to do.
When the items are subsequently found, you can easily prove they're yours by scanning the QR code yourself, or by providing proof of ownership remotely.

That's what VANSCAN is for!
Subscribe to VanScan and get a Van Pack, which includes our special vinyl and stainless steel QR codes to apply to your van, laser etching of the QR code directly onto the windscreen and window glass, and our unique Tap-n-Dash system.
As with the tools, if you report the van as stolen, or if it's been driven outside your permitted hours or area, anyone scanning the QR code will be alerted to possible suspicious activity, and the system will automatically notify you too.

Recovery of your tools and van
So, you have your items secured with our laser etched QR codes. Then your stuff is stolen. What happens next?
1. Report the theft to the police and give them the Secure Access Code. The police will issue you with a Crime Number.
2. Mark your items as stolen on the QR SECURE database. Give the police your unique Secure Access Code (SAC).
3. Once the location of the items has been identified, our QR SECURE system assists the police in the recovery of your items. The police will use the Secure Access Code and Crime Number to identify and recover your items.
WARNING - For the safety of our members, we do not recommend that you attempt to recover your items. It's best for the police to handle the recovery of your items and/or vehicle, with the help of QR SECURE.
The Power of the QR SECURE Network *
When you report your items as stolen, the entire QR SECURE membership can be notified, allowing the whole network to look out for your stolen items and vehicles.
If you lose any tools on site, you can report them as lost and notify your own networks, so your employees or contactors can help you find them.
